Vianet’s staff participates in the PROPAGA project in Frascati.
PROPAGA is a digital platform to engage user communities.
The purpose of the PROPAGA digital platform is to map, interpret, and facilitate in-person and online conversations, thereby stimulating debate among citizens, users, and stakeholders. These include executives, public officials, committees, and local entrepreneurs, all of whom address issues related to economic, sociocultural, or service development. These conversations are analyzed to identify the most interesting proposals shared by the majority, to intercept trends, to monitor public sentiment on sensitive issues, and to build connections. The proposals are then disseminated in the geographical area to refine them and gain greater consensus among the population that did not participate in the discussions. Finally, after considering all stakeholders’ suggestions, the selected proposals are presented to decision makers for approval and implementation.
The result: community-driven proposals that improve governance or endorsement through shared understanding and consensus.
